Vidyut Jammwal’s recently released Junglee was a decent success at the box office due to its controlled budget and economics. But the action film has achieved a huge milestone in its non-theatrical run. Junglee got recently premiered on the small screen and achieved phenomenal impressions of around 1 crore 12 lacs. The numbers are more than double of Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy which had got around 52 lacs impression on its premiere show. Interestingly, both the films were premiered on the same weekend. Junglee has now become 4th best-premiered film on television after Total Dhamaal, 2.0 and Luka Chuppi.

Meanwhile, Vidyut will be next seen in Commando 3. Talking about the film, it also stars Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Aditya Datt and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It is presented by Reliance Entertainment. Like the earlier 2 installments, Commando 3 will be high on action and stunts. It will release on Septemeber 6 and will clash with Saif Ali Khan’s Laal Kaptaan.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will be next seen with wifey Deepika Padukone in Kabir Khan’s ’83, which will chronicle the heroic journey of the Indian cricket team of winning the 1983 world cup. The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Sahil Khattar and Chirag Patil in key roles. While Ranveer essays the role of Kapil Dev, Deepika will play his wife Romi Dev. It is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala and Madhu Mantena and is scheduled to hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
