Music composer Tanishk Bagchi is going to be one anxious man, today. And the reason is something that would make any artist content. The composer’s three tracks are going to be out today. While all the three tracks hail from popular flicks, two of them are recreated ones, something Tanishk has come to be known for, and the third one is an original track. Glassy from Jabariya Jodi, Shehar Ki Ladki from Khandani Shafakhana and Psycho Saiyaan from Saaho, all the three tracks release today. On such a day, Tanishk got chatty with BollywoodLife in an exclusive interview where spilled beans like nobody’s business.

Saaho, which stars Prabhas who has become a national rage post his Baahubali stint, will feature Tanishk’s original track Psycho Saiyaan. Talking about the song, Tanishk revealed that the track was supposed to be a single for his music album. However, as fate would have it, thanks to actor Prabhas, the song was taken over to be included in Saaho. “Psycho Saiyaan was a song that I was planning for my single,” Tanishk shared, “Then I pitched it to Prabhas and he loved it so much that he said he wants to use it for his movie.” Even the film director loved it and the label got the track on board. “It was the destiny of the song,” Tanishk exclaimed.

The song releases today, however, as of now, the makers have given us a teaser of it. Talking further about the song, Tanishk said, “It has a different kind of space,” while confessing, “This is an experimental song.”

Furthermore, Tanishk claimed that the track is something people must have never heard before. “It is something we would have never heard it. Also, since it is going to be made in four languages, it will mark my debut to the south zone,” Tanishk explained. He also added that he was skeptical whether the audience will accept such a track.

When probed about what inspired him to create this track, Tanishk, who is an ardent AR Rahman fan, said, “Most of my music is inspired by Rahman Sir. I’m a mad follower of him, (in fact) I’ve started music because of that.”

Saaho features Prabhas and Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 15. The song Psycho Saiyaan as of now seems to be a party number but only time will tell if it will become on of the party anthems of the year.
