Anushka Sharma is the ultimate queen of memes. Jokes apart, on the work front, Anushka was last seen in Zero. The actress reunited with her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif for Aanand L Rai’s film. After the debacle of the film, Anushka hasn’t announced any new project yet. This led to rumours about Anushka’s exit from the movie world.

Contrary to what was being reported, Anushka had told Hindustan Times, “I think I have reached that position and security as an actor in my career, where I don’t need to do things or sign films just because I have to fill up time. In the past three years, I have been working in a fashion which was very hectic and have done roles which were extremely demanding. In one calendar year, to do a film like Pari, Sui Dhaaga and Zero, it’s not easy and takes a toll on you. All are different, and required a lot of prep.”

All said and done, we hope to see Anushka back at the movies soon!
