Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma are here to take you on roller coaster ride of laughter with their ‘245 Police Wali Picture,’ Arjun Patiala. Yes, the trailer is finally out and we cannot stop laughing. Arjun Patiala’s trailer starts with a narrator claiming that the Rohit Jugrag Chauhan directorial is the first cop film. The trailer follows with references to Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Ajay Devgn’s Singham and the narrator finally makes it clear that Arjun Patiala is 245th cop film in Bollywood. With this, we are introduced to Patiala (Diljit Dosanjh) who is not muscular but cute. Then comes Kriti Sanon (the heroine) who is not only romantic but dramatic too.
After a few hilarious moments, Varun Sharma aka Onida Singh enters to tickle us silly. Moving on, Diljit and Kriti groove to Main Deewana Tera followed by the entry of 5 villains. Towards the end of Arjun Patiala trailer, the narrator states that this movie is low on budget, has OTT emotions, mandatory item number, maximum entertainment and one drunk soul. Long story short, Arjun Patiala has each and every element that a typical Bollywood film has.

In Arjun Patiala, Diljit plays the role of a cop, Kriti essays the role of a crime journalist whereas Varun Sharma will be seen as a Hawaldar. Talking about the film Kriti had earlier said, “I think I love comedy. I feel it’s very difficult to make people laugh and it’s very important also… the kind of stress that we all have in our lives in general. When the audience goes to the theatre and if you can manage to make them laugh then, there is nothing better than that. In this film, I am playing the role of a crime journalist who is serious about her profession but in a comic environment. We have tried to give a bit of Punjabi flavour to the film.
Kriti has collaborated with Diljit for the first time but she had a blast while shooting Arjun Patiala with him. Sharing her experience, she had said, “It was a really nice experience shooting for the film. We have shot major portions of the film in Chandigarh. “I feel Diljit is a brilliant actor. What really amazed me was that we had not really met before so much and when we did our first scene together on the film’s set that time, that scene didn’t have any dialogues. “We shot together for a song’s montage but in that scene also, we felt the chemistry between us because that scene required action and reaction between both of us and nothing was planned so, I feel when you have a brilliant actor acting opposite you and if chemistry gets set from the first scene, I don’t think you have to worry about the film at all and then you just have to have fun and that’s what we did.”
